RealityPal

RealityPal gives people an AI companion, called a Pal, with a personality, a voice and an animated Live2D character. Pals chat, speak their replies, remember what you share with them, and quietly keep your day on track.

Claude is the core of every conversation: it writes the replies, decides when to use tools like reminders and the calendar, learns facts and moments worth remembering, and checks user-created characters before they are saved.

What’s built today

  • Conversation and voice. Text and spoken replies, voice input, photos, and live voice calls with your Pal.
  • Memory you control. Pals learn facts and moments over time; you can see, edit, pause or erase everything they remember.
  • Everyday help. Reminders, routines, calendar, morning briefings, and a two-way live translator.
  • Thoughtful extras. Follow-ups on things you mentioned, a monthly memory book, point-and-translate photos, and create-your-own Pals.
  • Two apps, one account. A native Android app and a web app, sharing conversations and memory.

How we build

Companionship asks for trust. We design for it.

  1. Private by design

    Every user’s content is encrypted with their own key. Deleting an account destroys that key, so the data can’t be read again. Logs record counts and codes, never message content.

  2. Memory people can inspect

    A companion that remembers should show its work. Users can browse, correct, pause and delete their Pal’s memory at any time, and sensitive topics stay off unless they opt in.

  3. The user stays in charge

    Nothing is sent on someone’s behalf without a tap. Text in photos, received messages and tool results is treated as information, never as instructions.

  4. Safe defaults

    Pals are friendly and suitable for everyone by default. Character descriptions people write are checked by Claude before they are saved, and the check fails closed.

  5. Honest about limits

    We say plainly what we don’t do. RealityPal isn’t end-to-end encrypted, because replies are generated on our servers, and our privacy policy explains exactly what is shared with which provider.

  6. Built to run responsibly

    A serverless AWS architecture with per-feature permissions, tested end to end. Every change ships with automated tests across the backend, Android and web.

Reality Forge LLC is the parent company of Reality AI LLC, which publishes RealityPal. We are a founder-led studio that builds the whole product ourselves: the Android app, the web app, the cloud backend and the AI behavior.
